First post of 2010. First post in a long time. Nobody reads this stuff anyway. Lots has changed. We sold Sideroad 15 and are renting the ground floor of Alpaca Deb’s house at The Mill on Line 90. As soon as the spring arrives we’ll start looking for a new house that suits our needs and, more importantly, our budget.

In December I had my 40th birthday. Big milestone. I worried about it a lot, it went from being a big deal to not being important at all, and back again. I thought I wanted some kind of party, then I didn’t. In the end it was just another day, which is okay.

Also in December, I started a new job at Mach One Communications in Elora. Finally! I’ve wanted to work there ever since I first had an interview there a couple of years ago. It’s cosy and small, and I like it. I get along really well with Jackie and Ruth, it’s like I’ve worked there for years.

And again, in December we lost the Jeep. Lee was driving home after dropping me off at Mach One on my first day, she skidded on some black ice, went off the road and rolled over a couple of times. Amazingly she was unhurt apart from some bruises. The Jeep was a write-off. Farewell Jeep.
